Alfredo Perez Gubbins

After 10 years of experience on Wall Street and at Banco de Credito del Peru, in 2005 I began my career at Alicorp as financial manager of the company. These experiences marked the course of a professional career that, since 2015, has led me to occupy the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of one of the main multilatinas in the region.

From my position as CEO, I try to implement a vision of development focused on the markets and businesses in which we want to be leaders, and for this, we work on three strategic pillars: grow, be efficient and focus on people.

This vision is complemented by a clear objective, the continuous generation of value for shareholders, employees, customers, consumers and society. That is why part of my efforts seek to accelerate the transformation of the organization towards more innovative and digitized models.

Prior to my experience at Alicorp, I also had the opportunity to hold the position of Director of Investment Banking at Citibank del Perú SA, and I was the General Manager of Grupo Romero.

Education

I am an economist from the Universidad del Pacífico and I have a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Business School in the United States.

Experience

During my career I held the position of Director of Investment Banking at Citibank del Perú SA, I developed solid relationships with a series of business groups in Peru and in the region, one of them being precisely the Romero Group, where I held the position of Manager General. Later I obtained the financial management of Alicorp in 2005 as Corporate Vice President of Finance.
